Makomas Foundation reduces poverty by helping nearly 1,000 farmers in West Africa each year grow more and sell more by providing them resources they need to operate sustainable farm businesses; provide over 17,000 customers access to healthy locally grown foods.
The ultimate objective is to build a prosperous West Africa by increasing productivity of rural women farmers. The strategy is to provide them adequate training, basic resources and access to resources and marketing. This in turn will lead to a better, prosperous and more developed African region with better health, education and more wealth.
