Makomas Foundation is working to preserve and promote rural agriculture and related activities in West Africa.
Our programs educate school children, engage the community, address food waste and food insecurity, train the next generation of leaders in our field and expand market share.

PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM
Get Your Hands Dirty Reducing Hunger around the World
Each year, Makomas Foundation hosts several short-term agricultural projects work teams that participate in our workshops and interactive sessions. Our Partnership Program is a unique opportunity for you and your colleagues, friends, and family to connect with Makomas foundation and empower them to be agents of change.
Foundation’s core services of providing information, training, seeds and packaged products are performed by our passionate volunteer work force.
Groups come to assist with the mission of Makomas Foundation contributing generously with their time and skills in the best way possible they leave with satisfaction and pride in the fact that they have personally made a difference in the lives of rural women farmers in West Africa.
FUNDRAISE FOR US - HOST AN OUTREACH EVENT
Outreach and fundraising events are a great way to support Makomas Foundation and its programs. Sponsors can choose to host an event which will benefit the entire Makomas Foundation, or any of its programs. The event can be as simple as setting up an information booth or as elaborate as a farm-to-table dinner.

More Ways to Support
Annual Campaign
We are offering annual membership programs for business organization through which we can work together for one complete year avoiding the hassle of repetitive registrations. It will also provide us with continuous funds needed to cover the financial expenses of our campaigns.
Spring Scholarship Drive
Scholarships make Makomas Foundation programs better for everyone. They make our field trips and Community Garden Assistance programs open to all, including local low income and underserved youth. They make it possible for our programs to reflect our community and its diversity. The scholarship funds raised through the Scholarship Drive have the most direct impact on the youth in our community.
Fall Fund Drive
Our Fall Fund Drive supports a wide variety of needs at Makomas Foundation. We have a large pool pf contributors that provide generous funds to support staff development, capital improvements to our facilities, animal and garden facilities, packaging materials, as well as helping to cover operating expenses that cannot be funded by grants.
Year End Campaign
In case you have missed an opportunity to contribute towards the Fall Fun Drive, End of Year campaign is another chance. You can contribute to the ongoing health and vitality of Makomas Foundation by supporting the upkeep and improvement of our fields, facilities, garden, animals, packaging materials and wild spaces. Without this vital environment for learning, Makomas Foundation could not offer the empowering and transformational learning opportunities that are making our community, environment, rural women, kids and families strive bite by bite.
