Volunteer Opportunities

INDIVIDUAL VOLUNTEERING

Makomas Foundation offers volunteer opportunities for individuals interested in helping out at food access points. Individuals must be 18 years of age or older and attend an orientation before volunteering.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Each year, we host different events/trainings/workshops. It takes many volunteers to ensure attendees have a wonderful experience. We need assistance with program/workshop monitoring and/or training, videotaping, check-in, exhibitors, and many other roles.

DATA COLLECTION /ENTRY

We collect a variety of data from our stakeholders including surveys, evaluations, and feedback. We also track data for grants and our annual reports. If you have experience with using Microsoft Office and Google Drive, we would love your assistance.

CORPORATE AND GROUP VOLUNTEERING

Interested in having your company come out and volunteer with Makomas Foundation?  Makomas Foundation works with corporate groups of any size on outdoor volunteer projects – like building urban farms, community gardens, and school gardens – all across Côte d’Ivoire. Whether it be planting flowers or tackling a construction project like building wooden garden beds, our staff will work with your company on designing a volunteer day that is engaging, educational, and fun!
